At Applied Medical, we are committed to protecting our environment and the earth’s natural resources. We identify and manage current and future environmental sustainability initiatives by tracking energy usage, water consumption, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and waste generation. We gauge our progress toward optimization
of these key indicators by assessing our impacts, implementing strategies, encouraging team members’ involvement, and tracking results. Through these efforts, we endeavor to consistently and responsibly reduce our environmental impact. We adhere to the sustainability practices outlined in our environmental policy.
Our efforts are worldwide. We have obtained the ISO 14001:2015 certification for our
European organization directed and managed by our Amersfoort facility in the
Netherlands. ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management
systems (EMS). Protecting the environment and continually developing sustainable
practices is an important aspect of our EMS.
